Patriot 4GB DDR4 2400 Mhz Laptop Ram Review

Patriot 4GB DDR4 2400 Mhz understands that value-seeking performance enthusiast often chose data-rate-limited CPUs such as the immensely-overclockable Core i3-8350K. While standard DDR4-2400 would probably do the trick for some of these builders, the ubiquity of glass-sided cases means that they’ll probably want something that at least looks better than stock. And hey, while you're adding some pretty heatsinks, why not bump the timings up a notch, too?Patriot 4GB DDR4 2400 Mhz greatest limitation of Patriot's part number PVE432G240C5KRD is probably that the company bumped the timings up by only one notch, from the currently-common CAS 16 to a mere CAS 15. Although standardized “DDR4-2400P” modules are also available at CAS 15, the organization that sets these standards has listed support for this as optional. Patriot thus chose to broaden compatibility with XMP-enabled motherboards that may not include a DDR4-2400P configuration by including it in an XMP profile. But the company chose not to include those same settings within the memory’s standard configuration table. As a result, the only way to get these modules automatically configured at their rated DDR4-2400 is to put them in a board that supports XMP mode, and then enable the XMP setting. Not doing this results in the modules defaulting to a mere DDR4-2133. This, despite the module’s low XMP voltage and mediocre timings. We define low-latency memory as having less than one cycle of latency for every 200 MHz of data rate, and that means CAS 12 would have been needed to even put them on our performance threshold. Elite thus refers to the module’s appearance, as these settings fit within what we’d define as standard replacement memory. Then again, perhaps we can push them a little farther?Comparison kits include Patriot’s own Viper Steel DDR4-3200 C16, G.Skill’s Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 C16, and HyperX Predator RGB DDR4-3200 C16. Configured to reduce non-DRAM bottlenecks, support hardware includes Asus’ Maximus XI Hero, Toshiba’s OCZ RD400 NVMe SSD, MSI’s GTX 1080 Armor OC, and Intel’s Core i9-9900K processor at a fixed 4.80 GHz frequency using Fractal Design’s Celsius S24 to keep it cool.

Specification:Key FeaturesType DDR4Capacity 4GBFrequency 2400 MhzOperating voltage 1.2VWarranty InformationWarranty Lifetime ..Adata 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Desktop Ram The Adata 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Desktop Ram module is a 512Mx72 bits 4GB(4096MB) DDR3-1333(CL9)-9-9-24 SDRAM memory module. The SPD is programmed to JEDEC standard latency 1333Mbps timing of 9-9-9-24 at 1.35V. Adata 4GB DDR3 1333MHz module is composed of eight-teen 256Mx8 bits CMOS DDR3 SDRAMs in FBGA package and one 2Kbit EEPROM in 8pin TDFN package on a 240pin glass–epoxy printed circuit board. Adata 4GB DDR3 1333MHz module is a Dual In-line Memory Module and intended for mounting onto 240-pins edge connector sockets. Synchronous design allows precise cycle control with the use of system clock. Data I/O transactions are possible on both edges of DQS. Range of operating frequencies, programmable latencies and burst lengths allow the same device to be useful for a variety of high bandwidth, high-performance memory system applications. Adata 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Desktop Ram Review Purchased this for an older Biostar motherboard mATX. Was not sure it would match its predecessor memory of the same bandwidth and speed etc. But it did and now I have 8 gigs of solid working memory. Boosted system performance significantly. Would recommend!Good memory at a good price. Despite it's different look, it perfectly matched the other 4GB ADATA stick with heat spreader that I had, allowing me to easily upgrade my workstation to 8GB. Working at 1333MHz @ 9-9-9-24 with no issues. As other reviews already state, this RAM does its' job. The price is great, and despite being a lower frequency than other choices there isn't a performance difference. This is great RAM for cheap, I'd recommend it to anyone. Patriot’s Signature Premium DDR4 memory modules are the perfect option for any PC system build or upgrade for faster performance. Patriot Signature Line Premium 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz Desktop Ram Review PATRIOT SIGNATURE DDR4 2400Mhz today announced its latest “Premium” DDR4, minus the pricing premium, in its Signature Premium standard DDR4 UDIMMs. And by standard we mean that XMP (automatic overclocking settings) is not required to get these to rated speeds and timings: All Signature Line UDIMMs use JEDEC-qualified settings.Heat spreaders set the Premium-branded modules apart from previous Patriot Signature Line products, while the low prices and Patriot-provided warranty set every Signature Line apart from “generic” memory. That low price will be enough to get many of us value-seekers onboard, and nobody said that we couldn’t try our hand at manual overclocking.Packaged in single and two-DIMM kits at 4GB to 16GB per-module capacities, the availability fairy says that Signature Premium buyers will need to wait for the slow boat from Taiwan.
