Asus Rog Crosshair X570 VIII Formula Review

The first X570 motherboard we tested was the excellent Crosshair VIII Hero. The Crosshair range is very much ASUS applying their ROG skills to the AMD platform, and with the Hero it combines an excellent feature set with impressive looks at an affordable price.Like anything though, there is always room in the range for a take upon the, if you'll pardon the expression, formula that includes more premium features and accoutrements for the more discerning enthusiast, or at least the ones with a larger budget. The ROG Formula has always been a popular choice, having very nearly the same high end features as the extreme - for example the Rampage Formula vs Rampage Extreme - but without quite hitting the flagship price point. Knowing that the Crosshair VIII Hero was very good we couldn't wait to discover what the Rog Crosshair X570 VIII Formula has up its sleeve and how far it could push our Ryzen 9 3900X.As a slight aside we want to thank you for your patience in waiting for the next batch of X570 reviews.
